INTRODUCTION
This story is a reality check; offering thought provoking
evidence for discovering the most hidden secret about the purpose of this planet.
Expect a typical rivalry story
within a family business model, designed to reveal shocking concepts that are meant to challenge you’re deepest spiritual
thoughts.
As the story unfolds you will be witness to very cleverly tilted, political strategies being exposed in the
light of common sense and reason. Witness these strategies being carried down from the control center of the universe, exposing
a purpose beyond our current understanding.
This fictional story is designed to help bring better understanding
to the why of this world – away from hard to understand biblical lingo. Not to down play anyone’s
belief system, but to hopefully bring us together in a God given reason for getting up in the morning. Which could be a message
in understanding more about how to love our neighbor as ourselves.
With
that said, lets simply imagine we have stumbled on to a possible reason for the existence of our little planet within this
vast universe.
Simply Imagine
Our story begins with the governing operation of
a very large company, which has been highly successful in all of its endeavors, employing many thousands of people.
Like
all businesses there is the inside story of how it all began. This one was started by someone who had a large family of which
he was very proud. When the timing was right he brought each family member into the business to help him.
As they settled
in on their different tasks, there was one son that displayed very strong management skills. Although the father remained
‘Chairman of the Board’ he soon appointed his son as the CEO and because of his extraordinary talent, he gained
the respect of everyone. Under his leadership the growth was incredible, doubling many times over, year after year. But as
time went on, a dark side within the son began to emerge. He began thinking that he could do his own thing where he could
even be the Chairman of the Board. His aggressive thinking took him to a level of believing that he had a better way of government
than that of his father.
As this type of thinking progressed he very carefully began to recruit others to his side,
at first saying he was trying to help his father out with some better ways of governing. His campaigning apparently was quite
successful as about one third of the staff agreed with him.
Of course, his all-wise father was aware of what was happening
and was trying to talk his son out of his ambitious ideas. He tried explaining that the company’s success was based
on honesty, integrity, and treating others as you would like to be treated. But against all the fathers pleading, the son
refused to listen.
The father then knew he had huge problems within his family and company. The necessary decision to
let his son and his followers go was very hard for him, because he loved his family very much, so much, that he turned to
ideas of how to win them back. These ideas were centered on creating another company in another country on the other side
of the world and allowing his son and followers to take it over with their ideas of government. This would allow them to experience
their own way of thinking in order for them to see for themselves the devastating results.
Although the father knew
this would affect the lives of many in the other country, but for the good of all, to forever expose ways of government that
would be harmful to everyone, the father chose this path. As time went on it proved to answer the questions that many had,
especially for the remaining children that stayed loyal to the company. For even they were somewhat unsure if this new way
of government had merit or not.
So for the sake of winning back their total trust and confidence to the point that the
father’s way of government became their choice as well, he chose to include them in the decisions of how to win back
the rest of the family. Because, so far, all they knew was that this eruption within the company was having devastating effects
on the company and it’s profits. They were not sure what had caused the problems because the rebellious son had done
such a masterful job of disguising his real motives.
So again, the all-wise father knew if he would include them as
a management team to figure out how to win back the followers of this new government, that they would be the first to realize
that the government within the original company was far better.
This part of the story is designed to
reveal how the God of the universe chose to teach his children about himself. Understand that the rebellious son represents
the source of evil, evil that has done a masterful job in painting a deceptive picture of God possessing his own character
of being vengeful, unforgiving, and severe. God is simply allowing his son’s way of government to run its course, therefore
exposing to all of us, the true results of evil.
As time went on the rebellious son began to have second thoughts,
and decided to put in a request to be reinstated. But again, the father understood the basis of his son’s politics –
his way of thinking. Besides, the son had so instilled his way of government in the minds of the family - to dissolve the
new company would leave far too many unanswered questions. And to forever put to rest the opposing ideas of how to run a company,
those ideas had to be played out, so all could see why it wouldn’t work. The father also knew his son’s motives
for wanting to be reinstated were not genuine. He was only thinking of himself in realizing that he had given up the security
of belonging to the original company.
The father’s concerns were soon validated when he refused to reinstate
the son, for the son became very angry by lashing out, saying, ‘I’ll show you!’
The first thing the
father did was to complete the new factory and get it running with new blood that was not contaminated with the history of
the original home factory. In order to get the new company off to a good start the father was there teaching them about his
way of government. As time went on, the father was very pleased with the new company as it was running very smoothly; so smooth
that he said it was perfect.
Lets talk about the new company, in other words, life on this EARTH.
The
father’s demonstration begins as the rebellious son is hired on with the new company as an advisor for internal affairs.
The father warned the ones in charge of the new company, not to accept any outside notions, but it became obvious that they
were not listening. Because soon thereafter, unhealthy methods of competition began to emerge, engulfing the thoughts of many
in the new company. Some of them began working to overrun their fellow workers in order to take over their position. The perfect
new company soon became, to quote an old cliché, a ‘dog eat dog’ environment.
Allowing
for this was the father’s way of demonstrating to all, , the results of what happens when
a thread of evil weaves itself in and around a perfect way of government.
The son’s aggressiveness became more
and more intense as he created many other sub-companies competing with one another. On the surface this appeared to be a good
thing. It put the people’s attention on developing different and better ways of making their products. But what was
really happening, it kept the people’s attention on themselves by having their focus on their own growth of success
in gaining more advantages over others. When one company would rise above the others, there was always someone else working
and developing a different design or color combination that would soon rise above all the others, again, taking the majority
of the business.
This type of competition seemed to be very healthy and prosperous for the overall good. It wasn’t
long before everyone wanted to come to this most prosperous country that was fast becoming known as the land of opportunity.
And if it weren’t for the thread of evil being woven in and around where some would take advantage of others, it most
likely would have become the ultimate way of government. Mainly because the basic ideas of competition would cause people
to think and keep them active and creative.
But because evil does exist, this evil seemed to create uncertainty, confusion,
and distrust among many people. Distrust, because of the peoples own sense of security in looking out for themselves, they
would jump from company to company with each other’s industrial secrets so that eventually they couldn’t trust
one another.
As time progressed, the rebellious son could see a problem arising that compelled him to come up with another
plan of government, in order to keep the people’s attention on what they thought would benefit them best. The problem
in their current government was centered on one brother or sister surging far ahead of another, having it all with far more
than they could spend, while another was in deep poverty.
Of course, this didn’t seem fair, especially to those
that didn’t have much. In order to keep from having an uprising over this, apparent unfair way of government, the rebellious
son came up with what he thought was a progressive way of government that would spread the wealth of many around. Of course,
this sounded very good to the many that were working very hard but just couldn’t seem to make things work. Through it
all, it wasn’t hard for them to think that things needed to change.
So the majority banded together to make the
change. Oh how sweet it was for a short period of time. The wonderful government scooped up the wealth and evenly distributed
it to everyone, but a strange thing began to emerge. With the people being forced to give up their wealth to the government,
sometimes with a type of force that many didn’t realize was happening, which was that the people resisting simply weren’t
heard of any more – they came up missing.
The next thing that began to happen is that all of a sudden there wasn’t
enough money to go around because the people no longer had the desire to work. Their creativity to do better seemed to diminish.
The motivation to work hard all went away when it no longer made any difference how smart or hard they were working.
The
main point of the father’s demonstration was to reveal when evil is woven in and through any method
of government, greed and power to control will always come to the surface.
Because experience is always the best teacher
the father had simply allowed these other ways of government to run their course, in fact it seemed as though the father was
helping and encouraging those involved in the many sub-companies that his rebellious son had created.
Time Out
The first part of this story was designed to reveal the beginnings of political
problems that began long ago within the control center of the universe – not on this earth.
Problems have centered on ONE wanting to rise above another in stature and power to control –
Notice the parallels between business and churches. Businesses with better products to gain superiority and
market share to many different churches with superior ways in believing what it takes to gain favor with the father.
If one was to notice, there really is a tight parallel between the politics of both business and church in
regards to them both trying to ‘one-up’ one another. Business is out to kill their competition with a better price
or product, while churches are trying to enlarge their congregations by promoting a better way of gaining access to a heavenly
place to come.
We could call this a very subtle parallel, so cleverly
designed that no one notices what is really going on. We are so caught up in our businesses in order to make a living and,
likewise, we are so caught up in our special religious beliefs we simply haven’t noticed the great detour or cover-up.
The great cover-up consists of a plan that was executed long ago to turn spiritual things into legal problems
with God instead of it being political problems within our belief system.
"Political"
- meaning how we live, what we have been
sold as a way of life, or our belief system.
Again, if
we were to notice, we might see how the rebellious son has turned the father’s educational training sessions
into mankind deserving to die for breaking the rules. This subtle switch happened within the process of the father allowing
rebellion to run its course, therefore, revealing the end result of greed and power-hungry thinking.
Many of us have been exposed to the business world enough to see the parallel between what happened in the
control center of the universe as it is put along side the world of business. (A dog eat dog environment – kill or be
killed – survival of the fittest) The purpose is to reveal where it all began and to realize that we are on stage before
the entire universe as they witness the results so as to forever put to rest evil notions.
In order to demonstrate how it came about, this little story will jump from the business track over to the
parallel spiritual track - designed to expose the great detour or cover-up.
Back to the story
Remember
the father loved the people and his intent was to win back as many as possible to his way of government by allowing the rebellious
son’s ways to be experienced, therefore revealing the consequences. Through it all, the father continually reminded
them to love their neighbors as themselves, and to treat others as they would like to be treated, emphasizing that this was
the only way of government that would last. And to help get this message across the father had some of his loyal children
write books that were eventually put together in one volume of cumulated stories. These stories were meant to reveal the father’s
way of government and why the rebellious son’s way wouldn’t work. This was done by recording many stories that
would expose the results of his way of thinking.
- They called the Book holy –
- The
son tried destroying it many times, but noticed that the people wanted it all the more. So the son decided to work it over
in a few places to fit his ways.
- Even though the Book soon became so well thought of for giving the people
hope and direction that they came to value the Book to the point of losing site of the original
message about the father and his way of government.
- The message fast became all about how to be saved from
what the people were told was the father’s wrath over breaking the rules. But in the father’s method of teaching,
he simply allowed this notion to run its course.
- The son was very clever in mixing things up by also having
many translations written as well and giving them many different names to cause even more confusion.
- He
twisted some words around to mean the opposite, intensifying the confusion. One of the main changes was to have it say that
every word came from the father, because then he could change other places that would then fit his
ways.
- The Book was most persuasive to the children because they knew the father loved them and would never
lead them astray. But of course, the crafty son was right there to take advantage of their trust in the father.
- But
what the rebellious son didn’t know was that the father was way ahead of him in allowing him to tamper with the Book.
This is simply the father’s method of training, ‘give the enemy enough rope and he will hang himself’ –
in other words, evil will eventually be exposed.
- Many concepts were twisted to make it appear that the father
was severe, exacting, vengeful, and unforgiving - one to be feared. It was told that the father would send anyone that didn’t
follow his ways to a place of torture. And if anyone were to ever be saved from this place they would have to gain favor with
the father.
- Because of this, the Book soon became a codebook for them to learn the perfect will of the father
so they could be sure of winning his favor.
- But the father knew if they were ever going to stand on their
own in making right decisions that they would have to understand the difference of following a Book, or a person with their
emotions as opposed to right principles. So within his method of teaching, he allowed them to experience
the results of thinking that the Book was infallible.
- This reality became very distressing for many, when
they discovered that things in the Book really had been tampered with.
- This was a shocking lesson for many
to learn – they came back saying, "If we can’t trust the Book, what can we trust?" And of course, this
is the whole point. The people where so into the Book that had been tampered with that they were somehow blinded. They failed
to see that some things were twisted to make the father out to be a vengeful, dictating evil person that would put them in
a torture chamber if they didn’t believe in him. Even though in many places the Book still had the message that the
people should look to the ways of the father - his government, but they seemed to pass over or misinterpret it’s meaning.
They were so preoccupied with being saved from the pain and suffering they were experiencing that they fail to see or question
if there were any problems with the solutions to being saved.
- When things were
talked about within the Book that didn’t seem to make any sense, they were told that when it comes to spiritual things
it doesn’t have to make sense. This is because it falls within the mystery of how we are saved – we are to just
believe that these things are true by faith.
This concept suggests taking a faith leap in the
dark. But true faith can not be a leap in the dark – one could end up with a broken leg or worse. Nothing wrong with
having faith – but to trust in anything, it should make sense and have a foundation of substance.
- Many said
that things within the Book didn’t lose anything significant from the many translations, but what they didn’t
realize is that the rebellious son was alive and well with his diversions right from the beginning.
As the controversy
between the father and son proceeded the father continued his training by appealing to their reason by explaining that going
against the common rules of life could cause them to die. But the son immediately told them that was a lie, that they would
not die, that the father only wanted to keep them in the dark so he could feel superior over them.
This
is where the rebellious son was doing everything he could to lower the image of the father to the people by telling them that
they were equal with the father, in fact that they could even become GODS.
(Purpose of Sacrifice)
To
demonstrate to the children that he, the father was telling the truth about dying, the father had them take one of their best
prized pet animals that they loved and cut its throat to watch what happens when something dies. The father’s intent
was that they could see the seriousness of going outside of the way they were made to function, that it could harm them and
even cause their death. And to take the life of the pet they loved was so designed that they would feel the sting of death
within their emotions, which was to sicken them to the core, sick enough that they would want to run from anything that would
cause evil and death.
(The twisted purpose of sacrifice)
But of course, in this process,
the rebellious son was again there to twist and distort the father’s meaning by telling the people that going outside
of the rules (how they were made) made the father angry, angry enough to kill them. He told them that the purpose of killing
their pet was to appease the father’s anger – that they had to do this in order to gain favor and forgiveness
from the father for breaking the rules.
When in reality, the father was warning his children that they would die if
they would stray outside of how they were made. What the father meant is likened to putting sugar water in the fuel tank of
your automobile, the engine would surely stop running.
As time went on the people continued the practice of sacrificing
their pets until it became a ritual. But again, this was part of the father’s method of training the children in allowing
them to experience how routine can become thoughtless. As time went on, this process was to be looked back on to reveal how
the rebellious son had reversed the meaning from helping the people to recognize evil, over to appeasing the father’s
wrath.
(The scam revealed) Since the rebellious
son had the people believing that the purpose of these sacrifices were to satisfy the wrath of the father, the father sent
another son into their midst to reveal that this wasn’t true. This other son was just like the father, full of love
for the family, and very eager to reveal the truth about the father and his government.
But the loving son was in for
a very difficult road ahead because the rebellious son had many followers that were making money off of the people. The people
were told that they needed a spotless animal to sacrifice in order to make the best impression with the father.
Of course,
the people brought their very best pet to the place of sacrifice, but were told it wasn’t good enough, it had to be
perfect, and that they needed to trade it in for a better one. In this process, the Scoundrels would take the people’s
animals in trade - clean them up some, and sell them for gain to other people the next day, therefore, fleecing the people
of their money.
(Scoundrels rules for more control)
In order to gain even more control
over the people, the Scoundrels developed rules upon rules that they said had to be followed, if they were to win favor with
the father. But the loving son had revealed that many of their rules were false. They soon could see that the loving son was
exposing their scam, which angered them to the degree of wanting to kill him. But they were wise enough to come up with a
scheme to take the attention of the people off of them, so the death of the loving son would look as if the father had killed
him, instead of them.
So the first part of their cover-up was to tell the people that since the loving son was claiming
to have the same authority as the father, that within their religious beliefs, he deserved to die.
(The
masterful switch)
Secondly, the rebellious son took the statement from the Book where the father said they would
die going outside of the rules for life and made it sound as if the father had said he would kill them for breaking the rules.
This was all part of the plan to make the father look as if he were unforgiving and severe with him requiring a blood
sacrifice before forgiveness could be granted.
This was the masterful switch that took the attention off the scoundrels,
and on to the father.
(The requirement of better blood)
Then, in order to make the father seem even more exacting, it was said that the father was no longer interested in the
blood of their pets. It was said that the purpose of that was to only point forward to the better blood sacrifice of the loving
son, which was sure to meet the father’s requirement in granting their forgiveness.
(Love for the
people)
More and more was added, even love, to take the attention from them. The rebellious son was so clever
with this scheme as to show the father killing his loving son out of love for the people. He worked it by telling the people
that the father loved them so much that he was willing to have his loving son die in their place as the better sacrifice -
dying the death that they somehow deserved for breaking the rules. It was said that this was the solution for gaining forgiveness
from the father.
(Need of perfection) In the next
step to even make it far more complicated, the rebellious son said that the father demanded their perfection before he would
grant forgiveness. Of course, that was the purpose of the scoundrels creating more rules than anyone could ever hope to keep
up with. The people soon discovered that perfection was impossible within all these rules, so the rebellious son was right
there telling them that, yes, the father’s ways were simply too hard – he said they would need a substitute that
was perfect, because they could never meet the fathers requirements.
But of course, the rebellious son was again, right
there with a solution to their problem. Again, saying that the father loved them so much that he would accept the loving son’s
perfect life in their place. This concept wasn’t hard for the people to buy into because they knew the loving son was
just like the father, that he was the only one that could meet the requirements of the father.
The people soon
came to recognize the loving son as the greatest, because he not only was dying the death that they were told they deserved,
he also would be perfect for them that the father would only see them through him. With the people buying into this concept,
it was sure to take all of the attention off the scoundrels for killing the loving son.
(It’s a mystery – just believe) Along with this the people were told that this would be a mystery
to them and not to try to figure out how it worked. But if they simply believed that the loving
son had met every requirement of the father for them, they were sure to be saved. They only needed to know that this would
for sure appease the father’s wrath and make it possible for them to be forgiven and allowed to come to the original
company.
Remember the father knew what was going to happen, it was all part of his plan to expose just how far the
rebellious son would go in trying to become the Chairman of the Board. The father knew that the scoundrels would kill his
loving son, and try blaming it on him as one of his requirements in gaining forgiveness.
(Never such a requirement) But what the children had to learn is that there never was such a requirement
and also that they didn’t have to plead and beg for the father’s forgiveness or even present any kind of special
or better blood to gain his forgiveness, because his forgiveness has always been there. The rebellious son had simply turned
the father’s methods of teaching into erroneous requirements of gaining the forgiveness – repeat - that has always
been there.
(Purpose of the cross)
The father’s purpose in his method of teaching
was to change his children’s mind away from evil thinking. He is saying, "Children, come away from things that
will harm and eventually kill you." So in demonstration of what evil really is, the father allowed them to take his loving
son and nail him to a cross with big spikes, hanging him up to watch him die. The design was set to sicken to the core the
hearts of those that loved him. The people were soon to see that this was symbolic for them to understand that in their own
rebellion they were killing the very one they had come to love – the same as was the purpose for them killing their
pets.
Real change must come from the heart, not from fear or obligation.
But again, the father
knew what it would take to change his children’s minds in turning them away from their evil intent. For them to recognize
that they were responsible for the death of someone they loved became the turning point for them in running from evil.
For
the loving son to die at the hands of the children became a very necessary part of the equation. Although it was a dreadful
thing for the loving son to have to go through, it more than revealed how much he loved the people. But take courage, there
was one more thing that the rebellious son didn’t know, and that was that the loving son had the power within himself
to come back to life after they had killed him.
One huge point to consider. If the death of the
son were for the purpose of gaining forgiveness from the father by paying a legal debt – then wouldn’t the loving
son have to stay dead? Or is this a part of the mystery that we are not meant to understand?
Through it all, it fast
became known that the blood sacrifices were designed to change the children, not to appease the father’s wrath to get
him to forgive. The reason the father allowed them to be taken in for a time was to reveal how the rebellious son worked his
clever diversions, even within spiritual things.
Because it was so important for the father that his children have
the freedom of choice he chose to risk his very reputation in allowing them to think, for a time, that he was unforgiving
and severe.
In summary, the father’s purpose to forever protect his children from evil was to allow evil to run
its course. He knew for his children to have peace and harmony with one another within the freedom of choice that they would
need to experience the results of evil. He knew he could not be a dictating father telling them what to do – that they
would have to see and love ‘right-doing’ for themselves.
Within the power of choice, the only thing
that will do away with evil is for us to turn and walk away from it. Sorry, but no magic-wand or mandate from God will destroy
it.
The reality of the whole scene is that the only requirement from the father to be accepted to the original
company, where total harmony does exist, is to have a teachable spirit, and be willing to listen. Listen close enough to learn
and have the FATHER’S way of life, where His politics and way of business become a part of you. Learning that loving
HIS ways from a sense of principle that upholds loving one another as ourselves is the only requirement. We could use an even
more simple way of saying it – to simply learn, by experience, to trust and love the ways of
the FATHER – the ways that the loving son came to reveal.
Can You Imagine?
Could the good news of the gospel
be about what the FATHER is like, ahead of how to be saved? I would rather know that the FATHER is someone not
to be afraid of, someone I would want to spend eternity with, even to live next door to.
End of story
– ending comments:
At the end of reading this little story, my wife made a classic comment.
She said that it makes sense, BUT IS IT RIGHT?
So the question is, ‘what makes anything
right or true?’
It’s not because it’s written in a book, it’s not because a voice of authority
said it, and it’s not because we have believed it for centuries. But it’s hard to ignore solid common sense evidence
from experience.
Example: It’s been my experience that most fathers are into the protection and training of their
children, being there when they fall, more than ready to pick them up – to kiss the spot to make it all better. The
concept of a father being bound by his own rules to torture and kill those that don’t love him, all in the name of justice,
is totally absurd. And of course, one of the purposes of this story has been to expose how and why these ideas began within
religion and or, spiritual concepts.
One other thing, the business world insists that things make sense, but when it
comes to the spiritual world, it’s thought that it doesn’t have to make sense because it’s called spiritual
– we are taught to just believe something is true by faith. This concept, as said before, suggests taking a faith leap
in the dark. But true faith can not be a leap in the dark…
Another intent of this story was to demonstrate that
spiritual things really can and do make sense. It’s meant to reveal that God really does have a sound reason for putting
us through the ups and downs of this world.
Comments for Atheist and Agnostics:
I’m not
the least bit surprised, because of the concepts and ideas that you may have been exposed to in the past, that you have turned
away from traditional Christian beliefs about God.
An Atheist - Georges Duhamel - French author (1884 – 1966)
made this statement.
Quote: "I have too much respect for the idea of God to make it responsible for such an absurd
world."
Obviously, Georges was a good person, but was simply uninformed about the purpose of this world. Is this
world absurd? Without a doubt, it surely is, but that is the whole point. Its purpose is to be the theater of the universe
to supply the evidence that evil intent, without a doubt, is absurd. The design is meant to turn us away from it, with the
freedom of choice, to even run from it.
What Georges needed to understand is that the idea of God should include the
element of the importance to God of our free will choice – simply called - FREEDOM.
The idea of there not being
a God could be absurd – have you looked into the heavens through the Hubbell telescope lately – (hubbellsite.org)
- have you considered the awesome functions of the magnificent human body lately?
For whatever reason you have come
to believe what you believe about spiritual things, my hope is that you could take another look.
Comments for
spiritually driven people:
If this little story has managed to pull the rug out from under your traditional
hope of salvation – fear not. Because God knows your heart and has been telling you all along that the only requirement
for your salvation is to trust in His ways with a teachable spirit. Besides, didn’t God tell you that towards the end
of time that knowledge would increase? Shouldn’t that include spiritual knowledge as well?
I know many of us spiritual
driven people have been totally wrapped up in our many different and controversial ways for being saved – being all
about us. But the true gospel should be the good news about what God is like to the point of wanting to be saved into His
way of government. I can only hope that this little story can bring enough common sense to the surface to shock you good people
out of your comfortable church pews with a passion that motivates action.
On the surface, many may think that this little
story is out to trash or downplay everyone’s HOLY BOOK, but to the contrary. The intent is to reveal or expose the distortions
within that make the father out to be exacting, vengeful, unforgiving, and severe. The HOLY BOOKS, without a doubt, contain
stories with words from God for our correction and instruction for what is right. Our God has simply allowed the BOOKS to
be tampered with as a demonstration on how to recognize truth from error by filtering every concept
through the character of the loving son. Evidence for this is taken from the Christian’s HOLY BOOK - John 5:39 where
Jesus told the ones that were about to hang him to the cross that they were fools for thinking that
their eternal life came from following every word in the BOOK. He went on to say that the stories
were meant to reveal or testify to his character – but they refused him.
And to go along with that, we should
put 2 Timothy 3:16 side by side where the original said that every inspired word is from God, but
after being tampered with it now says that every word – all scripture
- is inspired… Very clever switch.
It’s your author’s opinion that God has allowed all the clever
distortions in order for us to recognize error when we see it. It’s our wake up call to realize that God has asked us
to look to His ways, His character for guidance and truth. This is the lighthouse for detecting
the subtle changes of hundreds of different interpreters.
This is where we must exercise our common sense and reason,
for it makes no sense that God would tell us to just believe certain things without adequate evidence and or require a blood
sacrifice before forgiveness is granted. This concept has turned our belief systems into a legal format instead of simply
trusting in the ways of God. In fact, if God has such requirements to gain forgiveness, I will stand with the Bible character,
Moses when he said to God, "If you don’t forgive the people, then take my name off of your book of life."
(Exodus 32)
In other words, if God is a God that is demanding an appeasing sacrifice before He forgives, then leave
me out! I know I’m safe in saying that, because I know that God is not as His enemies have made Him out to be. Here
is an example.
THE BIG TWIST –
The incredible cover-up came by twisting
what the father said when he told His children that they would die if they were to practice a life style that was outside
of the way we were made to function. Of course, in Christian verbiage, this is called sin. And the way this is defined in
the Christian BOOK - the Bible, is that ‘the wages of sin is death,’ which I believe it surely is. But
listen, God is making a statement of consequence. "You continue down the path of doing things that you
were not designed to handle, and you will surely die." But would you believe that God’s enemy has turned that statement
of consequence into a legal demand of death – therefore making God out to be arbitrary, exacting, unforgiving, and severe.
Saying that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. And to even make God out to be more of a satanic monster,
it’s assumed that God is saying, "If you don’t love and trust me – I will torture you by keeping you
alive in the flames of Hell forever, and ever…. Or others say, as long as you deserve."
Probably the most
disheartening thing to realize is that God’s enemy has many world religions believing this, all in the name of justice!
To me, this has to be the greatest of all opportunities in explaining to them and anyone else that will listen that this is
simply not true. It’s been nothing more than the rebellious son making the father out to be vengeful, unforgiving, and
severe in requiring us to believe that it took the blood or sacrifice of Jesus in order to gain forgiveness from the Father.
The
big question is, could it be possible for us spiritually driven people to come together in continuing with the same mission
that the loving son had in coming to this earth? It’s found in the Christian Bible in John 17. The loving son Jesus
is talking to his Father, telling him that he had completed the work he was given to do –
that through the revelation of his character, he had revealed what the Father was really like.
As spiritual driven
people, shouldn’t our message be about our awesome God instead of arguing among ourselves over some exclusive
way in which we are saved? Does history really have to repeat itself? Remember two thousand years ago the spiritual
people were waiting for a SAVIOR to save them from the Roman rule. And here we are again, all caught up in waiting and arguing
over how to be saved from…. Wouldn’t it be more important to know what we are getting ourselves into? Wouldn’t
it make sense to at least investigate the demands and / or the character of the ONE in charge of this new and better place
we have been hearing so much about?
Isn’t it time to question and think?
